Stolen Kisses

ComedyDramaRomance91 min

Recently discharged from military service, Antoine Doinel drifts through Paris from one bad fit to the next, losing a job as a security guard before landing at a private detective agency. Jean-Pierre Léaud is Antoine, restless and romantic, forever veering between impulse and indecision. Claude Jade's Christine is the young woman already in his life when a case brings him into the orbit of Fabienne (Delphine Seyrig), the elegant wife of one of Antoine's employers. Between stakeouts, errands, and misunderstandings, his working life and love life start to fold messily into each other.
