Pack Up Your Troubles
ComedyWar68 min
Drafted into the U.S. Army in 1917, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy’s accident-prone recruits stumble through boot camp and the trenches before a wartime friendship changes their plans. After their fellow soldier Eddie Smith is killed in battle, Stan and Ollie head to New York with his young daughter, determined to place her with the right branch of the Smith family. The mission sends them from one mistaken doorstep to the next, as a simple promise turns into a citywide search through an endless parade of Smiths, mixing Laurel and Hardy’s deadpan confusion with wartime sentiment and big-city mix-ups.
