Ex-policeman Rollo Lee is hired to rescue Marwood Zoo after a New Zealand tycoon buys the place and demands profits. John Cleese's Rollo answers with a blunt new policy: only the most dangerous animals get to stay. As management tries to turn the zoo into a fiercer attraction, the keepers resist, and the whole operation tips into sabotage, office maneuvering, and animal-sized chaos. Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline are part of the ensemble circling the zoo's increasingly absurd rebrand, as corporate pressure collides with staff loyalty and the problem of deciding which creatures are marketable enough to keep.
