Grosse Pointe Blank

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaRomanceThriller107 min

Professional assassin Martin Blank heads back to Grosse Pointe, Michigan, for his ten-year high school reunion just as a fellow hitman starts pressuring him to join a killers’ union. John Cusack is Martin, a contract killer whose latest return home comes with a side job, a quirky assistant, and frequent visits to a neurotic psychiatrist. Back in the suburb he thought he’d left behind, he reconnects with the woman he ditched on prom night; Minnie Driver brings a grounded presence to their uneasy reunion. The setup keeps colliding teenage memories, workplace violence, and small-town familiarity in the same space.
