Astro Boy
ActionAdventureAnimationAnimeComedyDramaFamilyFantasySci-Fi94 min
In futuristic Metro City, a grieving scientist builds a robot boy in the image of the son he lost — then rejects him when the new child doesn’t match what he wanted back. Freddie Highmore voices Astro, whose super strength, flight, and x-ray vision make him stand out both in the shining city above and in the rough underworld below, where robots are thrown into gladiator fights. Nicolas Cage’s Dr. Tenma and Donald Sutherland’s President Stone keep Astro caught between private grief and public ambition as he tries to figure out where, and with whom, he belongs.
