Drawing on previously unseen footage and interviews, this documentary follows Kaufman’s brief life in show business and the line he kept erasing between performance and reality. Danny DeVito and Marilu Henner add firsthand memories, while Kaufman’s longtime collaborator Bob Zmuda and partner Lynne Margulies help sketch the private life behind the public disruptions.
