In the Long Run

Comedy20 min per episode

In 1980s East London, the Easmon family tries to build a steady life on the Eastbridge Estate after arriving from Sierra Leone. Walter and Agnes are raising their 13-year-old son Kobna, who is growing up British in a home shaped by his parents’ memories, habits, and expectations. Around them, the estate is crowded with neighbors, arguments, favors, and the small daily crises that turn family life into chaos. As Kobna comes of age, the series follows the push and pull between fitting in, standing out, and figuring out where home really is. Idris Elba appears as Walter in this portrait of one family’s life on a working-class London estate.
