Moone Boy
ComedyFamily22 min per episode
In late-1980s Boyle, County Roscommon, young Martin Moone tries to make sense of school, family chaos, and the daily embarrassments of growing up. His guide is an imaginary friend, Sean Murphy, a scruffy grown man who appears in Martin’s sketches and conversations to offer advice that is not always useful. At home, Martin is the youngest in a crowded family, forever getting pushed aside by older sisters, money worries, and small-town routines. As he chases plans, dodges trouble, and looks for a little space of his own, ordinary childhood setbacks turn into outsized adventures. Chris O'Dowd appears as Sean in this coming-of-age comedy.
