Two friends who both answer to Gerry head out for a hike and stray off the marked trail into open desert. What starts as a casual outing turns into a survival ordeal as they lose their bearings, run out of easy options, and keep walking through empty, punishing terrain. With little around them but heat, distance, and silence, small decisions grow heavier and their strained friendship becomes part of the danger. Matt Damon and Casey Affleck play the pair as the landscape strips the story down to movement, fatigue, and the unsettling question of how long they can keep going.
