Big Night
ComedyDramaRomance109 min
On the 1950s Jersey Shore, two Italian immigrant brothers stake their struggling restaurant on one make-or-break banquet. Tony Shalhoub is Primo, a gifted chef who refuses to water down his cooking, while Stanley Tucci’s Secondo handles the money, the promises, and the rising pressure as Paradise fails to catch on with local diners. When a dinner honoring bandleader Louis Prima is arranged, the brothers pour everything into a lavish meal that could change the restaurant’s future. Minnie Driver and Isabella Rossellini join a cast built around family tension, hospitality, and the clash between authentic Italian cuisine and American tastes.
