The Glass Castle
Drama127 min
Brie Larson is Jeannette Walls, looking back on a childhood spent moving from town to town with a family held together by fantasy and neglect. Woody Harrelson’s Rex keeps his children going on big promises and wild stories, talking up the glass castle he plans to build even as they scrape by in poverty. Their mother, Rose Mary (Naomi Watts), is an artist who resists the routines of parenting. As Jeannette and her siblings grow older, the film follows what it means to fend for themselves inside a household shaped by affection, instability, and their father’s shifting grip on reality.
