Beautiful Boy
Drama121 min
Journalist David Sheff is trying to hold his family together as his teenage son Nic goes from experimenting with drugs to a meth addiction that keeps pulling him away. Steve Carell is David, watching each period of hope give way to fear and uncertainty, while Timothée Chalamet’s Nic remains both urgently present and hard to reach. Maura Tierney appears as Nic’s mother, part of the fractured family orbiting hospital visits, rehab, and attempts at normal life as David searches for a way to help without losing his son.
