The Boys in the Band
Drama121 minWatch trailer
A birthday party in 1968 New York turns sour when a surprise guest arrives and a drinking game pushes seven gay friends into saying what they’d usually leave unsaid. Jim Parsons is at the center of the gathering, with Zachary Quinto among the friends pulled into the night’s escalating confessions. What begins with cocktails and barbed banter tightens into a closed-room confrontation, as old grievances, private longing, and buried resentments surface one by one. The film keeps its focus on the group dynamic, letting every shifting alliance and offhand remark reshape the room.
