Uncle Frank
ComedyDrama95 minWatch trailer
In 1973, Frank Bledsoe is a respected New York literature professor who has kept his life — and his partner, Walid “Wally” Nadeem (Peter Macdissi) — hidden from his family back in South Carolina. Sophia Lillis is Beth, Frank’s 18-year-old niece, who arrives in Manhattan for college just as a death in the family forces them onto the road home for the funeral. Paul Bettany’s Frank heads back to Creekville with Beth and, unexpectedly, Wally in tow, turning a strained family visit into a reckoning with the past he left behind.
