During a long summer in early-1980s Britain, schoolboy Will finds an escape from home when he falls in with Lee, the class bully, and the two decide to make their own movie inspired by First Blood. Bill Milner is Will, a quiet kid drawn into a louder, riskier world once a video camera enters the picture; Will Poulter's Lee charges ahead with stunts, costumes, and grand plans for a homemade action epic. As their project grows, so does the bond between two boys from very different backgrounds, with schoolyard scraps and pop-culture obsession feeding every new scene they try to shoot.
