The Green Mile
AnimationCrimeDramaFantasyMystery189 min
On death row at a Southern prison during the Great Depression, head guard Paul Edgecomb begins to question the order of his cell block when a new inmate arrives with an impossible gift. Tom Hanks is Paul, the veteran officer overseeing the stretch known as the Green Mile, while Michael Clarke Duncan's John Coffey is a quiet giant condemned for murder who can heal the sick with a touch. As Coffey's presence unsettles guards, inmates, and the rituals surrounding the electric chair, Paul's work takes on a different weight, caught between the demands of the prison and what he sees with his own eyes.
