The Sixth Sense

DramaMysteryThriller107 min

After an unexpected tragedy, child psychologist Malcolm Crowe takes on a new patient: nine-year-old Cole Sear, a withdrawn boy guarding a secret he can barely say out loud. Bruce Willis is Malcolm, trying to earn Cole’s trust as the child’s fears start to take on a supernatural shape. Haley Joel Osment’s Cole lives with his anxious single mother, with Toni Collette grounding the strain and confusion at home. Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the story keeps its mystery close to ordinary spaces — apartments, hallways, a school play — where dread keeps breaking through.
