The Big Mouth

ActionAdventureComedyCrime107 min

Jerry Lewis is Gerald Clamson, a luckless fisherman off the Southern California coast who reels in trouble when a wounded scuba diver turns out to be the double of a diamond-smuggling gangster. Mistaken for the other man, Gerald is pulled into a hunt for stolen jewels at a beachfront hotel, where gangsters close in and Susan Bay’s stewardess Suzie catches his attention. Filmed around San Diego, the story keeps piling disguises, mix-ups, and criminal confusion onto Gerald’s attempt to stay ahead of everyone chasing the diamonds.
