Hook, Line and Sinker

Comedy91 min

Insurance executive Peter Ingersoll thinks he’s terminally ill, and the diagnosis blows up his carefully ordinary life. Jerry Lewis is Peter, a family man who responds by going on a spending spree, racking up debt as he tries to make the most of what he believes are his final days. When his doctor friend Scott (Peter Lawford) discovers the diagnosis was a mistake, the crisis turns from medical to financial. The comedy follows Peter as panic, credit, and bad decisions keep piling up faster than he can contain them.
