The Monster Squad
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasyHorror82 min
When Count Dracula returns to the human world with Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and the Gillman, the only thing in his way is a neighborhood club of horror-movie kids. Andre Gower and Robby Kiger are among the self-appointed Monster Squad, a band of young fans who know their classic creatures well enough to fight back when Dracula starts hunting for an amulet that could let the monsters rule the world. The setup folds familiar monster-movie mythology into a suburban-kid adventure, with comic-book energy, practical-creature chaos, and a distinctly 1980s mix of scares and jokes.
