Evil Dead II

ComedyFantasyHorror84 min

Ash Williams heads to a remote cabin with his girlfriend Linda, only to find a reel-to-reel recording of an archaeologist reading from the Necronomicon. When they play it, an evil force tears through the woods and takes Linda first, leaving Bruce Campbell's Ash trapped in the cabin as the night gets stranger and bloodier. Sam Raimi turns the haunted-cabin setup into a frantic collision of possession horror and slapstick mayhem, with demon attacks, splintered doors, mounted deer heads, and household objects seeming to lurch to life around him.
