Bernard and the Genie
ComedyDramaFantasy70 min
After losing his job and his girlfriend on the same day, mild-mannered art buyer Bernard Bottle finds an old bottle with a genie inside. Alan Cumming’s Bernard is a put-upon man whose luck has bottomed out; Lenny Henry is Josephus, a genie who takes to the modern world almost instantly and throws himself into helping out. As Bernard tries to recover from a greedy boss and a collapsing personal life, the wishes start colliding with everyday British life in a Christmas-season comic fantasy written by Richard Curtis.
