Black Dynamite
ActionAdventureComedy90 min
After his brother is killed, Michael Jai White is Black Dynamite, a 1970s street legend who goes after “The Man” over heroin in orphanages, tainted malt liquor, and a conspiracy that runs from neighborhood corners to the Honky House. Built as a blaxploitation send-up, the film mixes martial-arts fights, shootouts, and knowingly rough-edged period style while Black Dynamite tears through dealers, pimps, and anyone tied to the scheme. Tommy Davidson and Salli Richardson-Whitfield are part of the ensemble around him as the case keeps widening beyond a single revenge mission.
