Team America: World Police
ActionAdventureComedy98 min
Broadway actor Gary Johnston is recruited by Team America, an elite all-puppet counterterror unit that hurtles from Cairo to Paris when a plot led by Kim Jong-il threatens global chaos. Trey Parker voices Gary, the newcomer drafted into undercover missions and spectacularly destructive operations, while Matt Stone helps populate a world of agents, terrorists, and celebrity activists. The film turns its sights on action-movie heroics, American intervention, and a Hollywood bloc called the Film Actors Guild, with Gary caught between world-saving assignments, public blowback, and a romance inside the team.
