Message in a Bottle
DramaRomance131 min
A divorced newspaper researcher finds a love letter washed up on the Massachusetts shore and becomes fixated on the man who wrote it. Following the clues in its pages, she tracks him to a North Carolina boatyard, where a widowed shipbuilder is still tethered to the marriage he lost. As they grow close, their relationship has to compete with grief, memory, and the private life she stepped into by reading words never meant for her. Robin Wright and Kevin Costner lead a story built around chance discovery, fragile trust, and the question of whether a new love can survive when it begins in someone else’s sorrow.
