Happy Gilmore
Comedy92 min
After flaming out as a hockey hopeful, Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore discovers he can drive a golf ball farther than anyone on the course. He joins the pro circuit to try to save his grandmother's house, bringing a slapshot swing, a bad temper, and no respect for golf etiquette into a country-club world that wants him gone. Christopher McDonald's Shooter McGavin quickly turns him into a rival and a target, while tour publicist Virginia (Julie Bowen) tries to clean up Happy's image. Carl Weathers appears as a former pro who starts teaching Happy how to survive a game he keeps trying to overpower.
