Don't Look Now... We're Being Shot At!

ActionAdventureComedyWar132 min

In 1942 Paris, after a Royal Air Force bomber is shot down, a house painter and an orchestra conductor become unlikely guides for three stranded British airmen trying to reach safety across occupied France. Bourvil is Augustin, the good-natured decorator pulled into the escape, while Louis de Funès’ Stanislas Lefort is a proud conductor whose rescue effort quickly gets complicated. What follows is a scramble through Nazi checkpoints, crowded hideouts, and improvised disguises, with the civilians’ mistakes causing almost as much trouble as the German patrols on their trail.
