Kelly's Heroes
ActionAdventureComedyWar144 min
When Kelly learns a German bank behind enemy lines is packed with gold bars, the American lieutenant decides to take his platoon AWOL and steal it. Clint Eastwood is Kelly, with Donald Sutherland's Oddball supplying three Sherman tanks and an offbeat attitude to the plan. As the unit pushes into French territory during World War II, the job depends on slipping past both the Germans and their own command. Telly Savalas and Don Rickles are among the soldiers drawn into a mission that starts with wartime rumor and turns into a run at Nazi gold.
