Man's Favorite Sport?
ComedyRomance120 min
Roger Willoughby has made a career out of being a celebrated fishing expert, even though he’s never cast a line. When an insistent young woman talks his boss into entering him in an annual fishing tournament, Roger scrambles to hide the truth and learn enough to survive the trip. Rock Hudson’s Roger carries himself like a polished authority until the whole charade starts to wobble; Paula Prentiss brings a bright, needling energy to Abigail Paige, the woman who keeps pushing him toward the water. Howard Hawks frames the mix of romantic sparring, outdoor mishaps, and mounting public embarrassment.
