The Hidden Blade

The story

In 1860s Japan, Masatoshi Nagase is Munezo, a young samurai caught between class tradition and a future he can barely see. After falling in love with a farm girl and leaving home to start over, he’s ordered to hunt down a supposed traitor — his closest friend. As the old samurai code collides with a changing social order, Munezo is forced to weigh duty, loyalty, and the life he had begun to imagine.
