Kids Return

The story

High school troublemakers Shinji (Ken Kaneko) and Masaru (Masanobu Ando) spend their days skipping class, mocking classmates, and drifting toward adulthood with no plan. After dropping out, they split into different worlds: Shinji takes up boxing, chasing a place in the ring, while Masaru attaches himself to a local yakuza crew. What starts as schoolyard bravado hardens into choices with consequences, trading pranks and boredom for the routines, hierarchies, and hazards of life outside the classroom.
