The Saint of Fort Washington
Drama108 min
After his apartment building is torn down, Matthew — a young man living with schizophrenia — is pushed onto the streets of New York and into the Fort Washington Shelter for Men. Matt Dillon is Matthew, suddenly navigating a world of crowded beds, street hustles, and threats from Little Leroy, one of the shelter’s more dangerous residents. Danny Glover’s Jerry, a combat veteran who knows how to survive outside the system, takes him in and begins teaching him the rules of street life. Their bond forms against the daily pressure of homelessness, isolation, and life on the city’s margins.
