14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible
ActionAdventureDocumentary101 min
In 2019, Nepalese mountaineer Nirmal “Nims” Purja sets out to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks in less than seven months, a target that would erase a record previously measured in years. The documentary follows Purja and his team through “Project Possible 14/7” as they move from summit to summit, answering skeptics and trying to keep an unprecedented pace at extreme altitude. Fellow climbers and mountaineering figures, including Reinhold Messner and Jimmy Chin, appear around the attempt as the film tracks the physical demands, the logistics, and the scale of what Purja is asking his team to do.
