War Machine
ComedyDramaWar122 min
Brad Pitt is a swaggering American general sent to Afghanistan with orders to win a war widely seen as impossible. As he and his handpicked staff move through briefings, press access, and high-level meetings, War Machine follows how confidence, image, and military strategy start feeding the same machine. A journalist (Topher Grace) circles the command as both observer and participant, and Ben Kingsley enters the political orbit around the mission. Inspired by the story of General Stanley McChrystal, the film frames modern warfare through bureaucracy, ego, and the uneasy distance between policy talk and what’s happening on the ground.
