The Outpost

ActionAdventureDramaFamilyWar108 min

At the remote Combat Outpost Keating in Afghanistan, a small U.S. Army unit is stranded in a valley beneath three mountains when a coordinated Taliban assault hits the base. Based on the 2009 Battle of Kamdesh, the film follows Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV as they try to hold their position against overwhelming forces during one of the bloodiest American engagements of the Afghan War. Scott Eastwood and Caleb Landry Jones are among the soldiers at the center of the siege, with Orlando Bloom in the ensemble of officers and men stationed at the outpost.
