Jules and Jim
DramaRomance110 min
In the years before World War I, shy Austrian writer Jules befriends the exuberant Frenchman Jim, and both are drawn to the same woman. Jeanne Moreau is Catherine, restless and elusive; Oskar Werner's Jules is unsettled by her as the three form a close, unstable bond. François Truffaut follows them from bohemian Paris through the war and its aftermath, as friendship slowly gives way to tangled loyalties, marriage, and jealousy.
