The Last Thieves
CrimeDrama107 min
Two young entrepreneurs find their ideals colliding with the realities of class, ambition, and compromise as they push for a place in Taiwan’s upper ranks. Yen Tsao and Joanne Tseng are at the center as strivers trying to build something of their own while facing the pressure and influence of a social hierarchy built to keep power in the same hands. As the line between principle and self-interest starts to thin, the story keeps returning to a hard question: what has to be sacrificed to make a dream possible, and who benefits when virtue becomes part of the sales pitch?
