Girlfriends
ComedyDrama88 min
In New York City, photographer Susan Weinblatt is left adrift when her roommate Anne moves out of their apartment and steps into a different adult life. What had been a shared routine turns into cramped solitude, and Susan starts feeling the gap everywhere: at home, at work, and in her attempts to build new relationships. As Anne moves toward marriage and a more settled future, Susan keeps circling questions about friendship, independence, money, and what it means to make a life on her own. Melanie Mayron anchors Susan’s side of the story as the bond between the two women shifts from daily intimacy to something harder to hold onto.
