Pink Floyd: The Wall

DramaFantasy95 min

A rock star cut off from the world retreats behind an emotional barricade as the pressures of fame and the damage of earlier trauma push him toward a breakdown. Bob Geldof is Pink, the isolated figure at the center of Alan Parker’s film, which moves between live action, performance imagery, and Gerald Scarfe’s harsh, surreal animation. Built around Pink Floyd’s music and Roger Waters’s screenplay, the story stays inside Pink’s fractured perspective as public spectacle and private collapse begin to blur.
