Coming to America
ComedyRomance117 min
Prince Akeem of Zamunda heads to Queens to find a wife who will love him for more than his title, trading palace life for a cramped apartment and a job at a fast-food restaurant. Eddie Murphy is Akeem, hiding his wealth behind the routines of an immigrant starting over, while Arsenio Hall comes along as the prince’s loyal friend and uneasy partner in the disguise. In Queens, their search collides with landlords, barbershop regulars, neighborhood bravado, and the family around the woman Akeem wants to meet on his own terms.
