The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!
ComedyCrime86 min
Leslie Nielsen is Lt. Frank Drebin, a police detective so accident-prone he can turn any investigation into collateral damage. After his partner is shot, Drebin follows the trail to a plan to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II, blundering through police business, diplomatic ceremony, and one public event after another. Spun out of Police Squad!, the film treats its crime plot with total deadpan, piling visual gags and procedural nonsense around Drebin’s absolute confidence.
