Lethal Weapon
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller110 min
After a young woman’s apparent suicide points to something larger, two very different LAPD detectives are forced into the same car. Mel Gibson is Martin Riggs, a volatile ex-Special Forces cop reeling from his wife’s death; Danny Glover’s Roger Murtaugh is a veteran homicide sergeant, careful, methodical, and newly wary of the partner assigned to him. Working through Los Angeles at Christmas, the pair follow a trail that leads from a single death to a heroin-smuggling operation with military ties. Gary Busey and Mitchell Ryan turn up on the other side of the investigation.
