A Fish Called Wanda
ComedyCrime109 min
After a diamond robbery, the gang behind it starts double-crossing one another to get at the missing loot, now hidden by their jailed leader. John Cleese is the straitlaced barrister pulled into the scramble when Jamie Lee Curtis’s Wanda targets him, hoping he can lead her to the diamonds. With Kevin Kline and Michael Palin in the mix as two of the thieves, the plot keeps swerving between seduction, jealousy, and bungled criminal scheming, all filtered through a distinctly British mix of courtroom fussiness and escalating farce.
