All's Well
Drama95 min
A strike at a French sausage factory becomes the flashpoint for a marriage already under strain. Yves Montand and Jane Fonda are a filmmaker and his reporter wife, moving through a 1970s France where labor conflict, media, and politics press in on private life. As the factory dispute unfolds, their relationship starts to fray alongside the public arguments around class, work, and power. All’s Well keeps its focus on that collision between the collective and the personal, using the factory crisis to expose the distance between what this couple says, what they do, and what they still share.
