After an assassination attempt leaves a crucial scientist near death, a military team is miniaturized inside a submarine and injected into his bloodstream to reach the clot in his brain. Stephen Boyd is Grant, the security officer assigned to guard the mission, while Raquel Welch’s Cora is part of the medical crew trying to keep the operation on course. As they move through arteries, lungs, and the inner ear at microscopic scale, the human body becomes hostile terrain, and trouble inside the vessel raises the possibility that the danger isn’t only coming from the patient they’re trying to save.
