Woman in Hiding
CrimeDramaRomanceThriller92 min
After a woman is pushed toward a breakdown by the man she has married, she disappears and tries to stay alive long enough to prove what happened. Everyone around her seems ready to believe she is unstable, which leaves her trapped between fear, suspicion, and a husband who can control the story. As she hides in plain sight, chance brings her into contact with a stranger who may be the only person willing to help. Ida Lupino plays the woman at the center of the chase, while Howard Duff is drawn into her fight as the danger closes in and her husband moves to find her first.
