We All Loved Each Other So Much
ComedyDrama125 min
Three former partisans come home to postwar Italy with a friendship forged in resistance, then find that peace asks different things of them than war ever did. The film follows their bond as everyday reality and the passage of time put pressure on what once felt unbreakable. Among the three friends, Nino Manfredi and Vittorio Gassman bring very different temperaments to the group, with humor and regret running together as the distance grows between shared ideals and ordinary life.
