A Samurai in Time
131 min
After a lightning strike, a samurai wakes up on a present-day film set and discovers he’s no longer in his own era. With no clear way back, he begins working as an extra in samurai movies, where the armor, swords, and rituals of his world are now props, choreography, and performance. The premise turns the gap between past and present into the story’s center: a man shaped by honor and tradition trying to understand a modern world that recreates his time for the camera. Time travel, identity, and the uneasy line between lived history and staged legend run through the setup.
