Ghost Cat Anzu
AnimationAnimeDramaFamilyFantasy97 min
Karin, a precocious tween abandoned by her father in rural Japan, is left at her grandfather’s temple with an unlikely guardian: Anzu, a giant ghost cat with a reputation for slacking off. Noa Gotô voices Karin, who distrusts the arrangement, sabotages Anzu’s odd jobs around town, and gravitates toward the eccentric forest spirits nearby. Mirai Moriyama is Anzu, a lazy caretaker whose attempts to connect with her keep going sideways. Their uneasy life at the temple shifts again when one of Anzu’s efforts to win Karin over leads him into a bargain with the devil.
