In the wake of a man’s death after sex with a horse, this documentary reconstructs the case through the voices of people who knew what happened and lived around it. Their testimony pieces together a hidden world on the outskirts of Seattle, where a small group pursued acts they kept out of public view until tragedy brought police attention and national scrutiny. Rather than present a straightforward investigation, the film folds those accounts into stylized re-enactments, letting the facts emerge through memory, rumor, and unease. What unfolds is both a portrait of a fatal incident and a look at the private subculture, secrecy, and fallout surrounding it.
